Run For Shelter adds a new 3K course, offers free participation for kids, and more.

Runners spoke. We listened. Now the 3rd Annual Run For Shelter will be better than ever. In addition to our scenic 5K course, we have added a 3K course that is perfect for walkers and families with young children. The 3K follows much of the longer course, but without the run through Hickory Meadows. We' ll also have a water station at the end of Randolph Street. And here’s great news for families: Kids 10 and under are FREE (T-shirts not included.)

As always, all proceeds go directly to the Goodwill Inn; northern Michigan' s largest homeless shelter.
